DUMBSTRUCK
Paul took "my" music and elevated information technology with genius, creative, brilliant arrangements, keeping enough of the integrity of the originals for PS purists. Every fellow member of his band was a virtuoso. Renee Magritte was unbelievable. His cord/wind arrangements were wildly intricate and the group played without charts!, for 2.v hours. He sang acapella above them. And the world musicians all around him and the ring regulars only blew my mind. For 2.v hours the unabridged globe was aligned perfectly. Ahhhhhhhhhh,!

Fifty-fifty Meliorate THAN THE PHILADELPHIA CONCERT
I am an admited groupie. I saw him and his band in Philadelphia in June. My friend and I both agree that the DC operation was ameliorate than the 1 in Philadelphia. Several reasons. The DC crowd was much ameliorate behaved. More importantly, the band has become tighter and Ymusic much more integrated with the other musicians. The operation of "Rene and Georgia Magritte. . . " seemed disjoined in Philadelphia while it was beyond lovely in DC. The only downside was that the acoustics in DC were a notch below the acoustics in Philadelphia. I have heard Paul Simon in concert many times going back to my days as a student at the University of Pennsylvania (College 'seventy). He never disappoints.

All the same THE All-time AFTER ALL THESE YEARS
super concert at BB&T , september 8, 2018. Sang for two.v hours , including two encores. The band was circuitous and outstanding with brass, string and a multitude of unconventional instruments, in addition to the typical percussion and guitars. A great set list which combined some of the classics with the latest past Paul. Overall, a concdert to remember, merely like the central park concert minus the 485000 attendees!

VINTAGE AND Futurity SIMON
My married woman and I saw Paul Simon Tuesday night at the Greensboro Coliseum. I went and bought very proficient seats the kickoff day tickets were available. This is the music of my life; Sounds of Silence equally a young teenager, to Graceland- which my young children adored. It would not matter what decade information technology was from the 60s to now, Paul Simon is a truthful genius that has helped united states of america all piece together our collective memories. It was a truly great performance with an amazing ring of modern world sounds.

Hard TO BELIEVE!
If you lot have doubts about Paul Simon'due south power to crank out a high energy, amazingly fresh, and superiorly orchestrated prove at his over 70 years, put those doubts aside and BUY THE TICKETS! Saw the show last night at the Greensboro Colesium. Astounding! The band was versatile and easily went from Westward African rhythms to zydeco, to exquisite bedchamber ensemble, to dixieland, avante garde, to American archetype rock and rock and ringlet ala Paul Simon at his finest!

STILL GENIUS Later on ALL THESE YEARS
I get-go heard Paul Simon'south piece of work in my dorm room at the University of Virginia in 1965– " Sounds of Silence." All who heard it were struck past the dazzler and poignancy of the work. Information technology'south 53 years later, age 77 and his vocalization, energy, and musical acumen are non diminished. What a fabulous performance! Information technology was non a concert: it was a performance by 15 consummate professionals. Two hours xx minutes of not terminate auditory excitement. He finally took vocal ownership of " Bridge Over Troubled Water" and the audience thanked him mightily. A night to call back and cherish.

Information technology WAS A LOVE-FEST!
Saw Paul Simon's farewell tour concert at the full-to-the-rafters Garden final dark, it was a mix of sing-forth and just sit and listen, mesmerized, to new arrangements of some great old chestnuts. Simon'southward energy, love of music came shining through all during the over 2-i/two hours, in fine voice, and arms open wide to his audience. Loved the band, great bear witness!

PAUL SIMON (FAREWELL Tour)
My starting time Simon concert. Wow! Hit all the notes. Drew tears with the erstwhile ballads and standing dance with rockin hits, a great anthology of his infinite talent. His voice is still boyish and clear and oh and so recognizable! And the mini orchestra was especially talented. The audio at the Garden makes live fun again. Ane gets the feeling Paul and company are actually savoring this one. As am I! Boston is a dandy place to do information technology up! Hotels in walking distance along the Charles River with many dining/drinking options earlier or after show. So glad we went!

HOMEWARD BOUND TOUR
Saw Simon and Garfunkel in 2003 hither in Boston and thought that this functioning couldn't match that 1. Thinking that a 70+ singer couldn't hitting the notes he once did, and also thinking information technology would exist a brusque unenthusiastic Paul...I was incorrect on all counts and very pleasantly surprised. Terrific show. Terrific support musicians. I promise his last stop on his Homeward Bound Tour is his own New York, and that it is filmed and shown on PBS next year.

SIMON SAYS-AND THE FANS Beloved It!
But saw the Boston show at TD Eye-A beautiful, 2-i/2 hour performance (including encores) by Paul and his incredibly talented band. Nigh 2 dozen songs were performed- from megahits to some lesser known ones. He weaved in humorous anecdotes between some of the songs, and seemed to feed off the energy of a very loving audition. My highlights-a very personal "Bridge" (quite different without Garfunkel but even so great in Simon's style), a soulful "American Tune" that still resonates today, 45 years after Paul wrote it, "You Tin can Telephone call Me Al" which really got the place hopping, and the very humorous "Wrist Band". Catch this show if you can-information technology's just most perfect! And suitable for the whole family.

PAUL SIMON JUNE 1 W2018 DALLAS
Amazing concert. Nifty rapport with the audience. One of the best bands I've e'er heard in over 50 years of concerts. Would go again if he tours again

PAUL SIMON
Paul Simon could not of made it any more perfect. From start to terminate he he was incredible. His vocalism was never meliorate. His ring just mesmerized yous on their talent. You lot clung to every word he spoke and every song he sang. No one wanted it to end. Thank you Paul Simon for your contribution to the World with your music.

INCREDIBLE
One of the best concerts I've e'er attended. Paul was an expert showman, and so energetic. His band was tight and his voice polish. Came out for two encores. Great variety . Seriously could not get enough. If you have a chance to nourish, don't laissez passer it up!

Bang-up MUSICIANS
Paul SImon was cute and charming. All of the musicians were fabulous!!! A wonderful dark of music and nostalgia!!! We were pleased with our sears, Sec 112. We do wish people would not stand up up for so many of the songs. (Paul actually encouraged dancing. darn) We took Lyft and it was very timely.

SO SATISFYING
This was my fifth Paul Simon concert (including a Simon and Garfunkel reunion concert). The venue was the Hollywood Bowl, and I was a little concerned because the last time I saw him there, he seemed a little lackluster; perhaps he was no longer "yet crazy subsequently all these years." Only how could I miss his farewell tour? So I went. I was non disappointed. Paul Simon peppered the concert with anecdotal stories nigh his songwriting process, and conducted his superb cast of musicians with aplomb. The result was a series of curated selections that well represented his vast repertoire of songs. His diction was so articulate, and that allowed me to be wowed - nonetheless again - at the genius of his lyrics. The music itself was well executed by all the musicians, and actually beautiful. I would highly recommend this concert for the new Paul Simon listener as well as for the aficionado. So very worth it.

Amazing TALENT
Paul Simon is an astonishing prolific talent. Songwriter and performer! Saw him last dark at the Hollywood Basin (5/22/18) and he rocked the house. Amazing energy!! What a souvenir to run across him perform again. I saw him in the tardily 1980s and again in the early on 1990s in New York with the wonderful musicians from South Africa. Thrilling evening!!

Then AMAZING Afterwards ALL THESE YEARS
The breadth of Paul Simon's body of work beginning in the 1960s can take one'due south breadth away. And Paul performed all of his cracking hits, and some less-we'll-known tunes, final nighttime in the Portland version of his Goodbye Tour. Paul has played Portland in the past, to be sure, when his hair was fuller and his vocalism smoother. But fifty-fifty in his mid 70's, his performance last dark demonstrated again how amazing is his songwriting talent, his melodies, his rhymes, and his vocal construction. Paul and his band played his hits with a new twist, changing the presentations from the radio versions. And this is what 1 wants from a concert—something new, yet tethered to the original. Paul delivered, and he continues to be astonishing, after all these years.

THANK YOU PAUL!! A CONCERT TO Recall.
We knew going into the concert that nosotros would not be able to hear all of his greatest songs, just hoping to hear every bit many songs from Span Over Troubled Waters and secretly hoping for specific songs like Frank Lloyd Wright, Cecilia, I am a Rock among others while knowing that I would hear The Sounds of Silence, Graceland and The Boxer. The musicians were tight and right on beat, e'er watching the proficient directions to further enhance the music. My only regret is that it took over 53 years to see and hear the talent of Paul Simon. I figure that if your biggest regret about going to a concert is/was that you wish it could be longer or see them perform over again and again so y'all take nothing to mutter about, only praise to be given to the talent, the skills, the humanity and all around practiced people/ person. Thank you once again, Paul for an unforgetable evening!

PAUL SIMON AT PRUDENTIAL CENTER NEWARK, NJ
Paul Simon sounded better than ever and his back up ring and singers were excellent. The concert went on for about two.five hours. It was a mixture of songs from him solo albums as well as his S&Thou days. Based on the historic period of the oversupply, I think many of us would accept liked a few more oldes. There was no Mrs. Robinson, no Cecelia, no I Am a Rock, no 59th St Span Song,. (just to name a few) The venue was packed. All employees are super friendly. The Prudential Center is so much easier to go in and out of than MSG. Peachy night.

UNINSPIRED :|
Too bad. Paul put on an amazing show during his Then Cute And so WHAT tour a few years ago; his May 2018 Seattle concert was not that. The lack of free energy at this bear witness was a major disappointment. While there doesn't seem to exist a bad seat in the firm at Cardinal Arena, it didn't seem similar everyone was having much fun. Possibly his concerts later in the tour will be more festive and lively.
